PRAISING GOD IS PLEASING TO GOD

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever; that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord,
So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God. II Chronicles 5:13, 14

Even every one that is called by my name; for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.
This people have I formed for myself, they shall shew forth my praise. Isaiah 43:7, 21

My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord; and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever. Psalm 145:21

I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. Psalm 109:30

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. Psalm 147:11

Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
Let them praise his name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will beautify the meek with salvation.
Let the saints be joyful in glory; let them sing aloud upon their bed.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, Psalm 149:1-6a

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23, 24

Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: I Peter 2:5, 9

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
But to do good and to communicate forget not; for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:15, 16

But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Colossians 1:10

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. I Timothy 2:1, 3, 8

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:1, 2

So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, Romans 8:8, 9a

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. I John 3:22

Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power; for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:11
