The Pleasure of God

What gives pleasure to God is his children, that have been redeemed (brought back), saved. We know from our own parents how they expressed pleasure when we volunteered to do something for them. It did not pass by them unnoticed; neither will it be unnoticed by God. The Bible says, He takes notice.

"Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of his goodness and the work of faith with power". 2 Thessalonians 1:11

When we do God’s will in some obedient act, God takes pleasure in the act. So when we even do it in secret, God will reward us openly. "That thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly" Matthew 6:4.

God cannot lie. He states it in writing. When someone pleases us, we usually smile or say thank you….my if only a few more of these expressions were made today how much more would it lighten our burdens of the day.

Someone said "life is how we make it"; also God said "no one can live unto himself." Remember when God created Adam, he also gave him a helpmeet, Eve. She was to help meet his needs and Adam likewise was too in turn help meet her needs. This is harmony that gives God pleasure.
